Reflection on EDTC22: Technology in Different Fields


Technology is a useful servant in various things, a servant to help everyone to find ways, to feel entertained, advertise products to earn money and etc. and a dangerous master in using those technology in overusing it to scam people. Those are some of application of technology. But there are 7 various application of technology in different field such as follows:
  •  Entertainment- refers to using technology to feel pleasure or delight.
  • Advertising- refers to using technology to promote products and etc.
  • Propaganda- refers to using technology to spread exaggerated ideas.
  • Intellectual Property Rights – refers to using technology to promote and protect your ideas, invention and etc.
  • Pornography- refers to using technology to cause sexual excitement.
  • Pyramiding scam- refers to using technology to earn money by deceiving people.
  • Gaming- refers to using technology in playing games for fun or gambling.

Technology is a very powerful invention that human being made, it has only one goal to help people to solve problem, but this goal may be change depends on the powerful hand of the user, it may use to feel happiness or entertained in gaming, watching movies, helps everyone to get information is just a second and to earn money in a right way, but it may also use to spread fake news, earn money by deceiving people and over using it for gambling.
From an advertisement think twice before you click but it’s better to think thrice before you click and spreading new because it may leads to change the future of the next generations. Technology depends on the user, so let’s be one of the good user for the better and safe technology.
